ULTIMATE FRISBEE

Ultimate Frisbee is a contactless sport which is usually played by 2 opposing teams of 7 players each on a rectangular field of 100M by 35M. The aim of the game is for each team to pass the disc to their team mates until they reach a designated area known as the 'end zones'.

Ultimate Frisbee was introduced in Mauritius in 2013 and there are currently 2 teams that play Ultimate on the island, one at Riverland Sports Club in Tamarin and the second at Northfields Sports Club in Labourdonnais.
